Beehaus

Omlet, the designers behind the Eglu, are now taking on the world of bees. The Beehaus is a product designed to raise bees in your back yard or rooftop. Because as they say, bees in your garden, honey on your toast! The Beehaus holds 24 frames, enough for two colonies. It is designed to keep both you and your bees comfortable. It provides solid insulation to keep the bees warm, and a raised design for a suitable working height for you.

Looks like a great learning experience. Let's just hope your neighbours also love honey more then they hate bees.

Cat Play House

Ha!  I cannot imagine a better cat toy than this paper cat house by Suck UK.  I mean, cats love boxes, and people love making their cats do stupid things for our amusement.  So it's win-win.  The Cat Play House is also available in a firetruck or an airplane.  Oh, and if you are not already convinced, check out the collection of photos and videos of kitties just loving their new toys.

Little Dead Things

Ha!  How super cute are these cat toys?  If they weren't sold out I would buy them for my cat immediately.  The toys, entitled Little Dead Things (that's my favorite part), are made out of recycled leather and stuffed with organic catnip.  The set includes; one dead mouse, one dead bird, one human brain, one zombie.  Seriously, what more could a cat ask for? Available (hopefully again soon) on the Prairiebird's Etsy shop.  (Found though Modern Cat).

Pet Peek

Alright, I'm filing this one under brilliant pet products.  It's a super cute window through your fence, meant  to give your confined dog (cat/child/whatever) a view of the rest of the world.  The Pet Peek is a 9.5" half sphere window designed to give your dog a full view of whatever going on on the other side of the fence, reducing barking and curious digging.  I think it would make my day to walk by somebody's house and see their space cadet dog peeking out through this perfectly head shaped window.  Love it!    (Found most recently through the Sub-Studio Design Blog).

Look-a-Like Kitties

How super cute is this.  I'm not normally SUCH a sucker for cuteness, but this is cute combined with brilliance.  If you send Electric Luna of Ploesie Poesies a picture of your cat she will make a plush cat replica for you.  This isn't just a cheesy stuffed toy, it's a stylin' kitty work of art.  All the cats get a special numbered label.  Check out the archive of all the 151 look-a-likes that have been created so far. Some of them are really amazing.  (Found through The Style Files)

Omlet Eglu

Looking for stylish ways to reduce your carbon footprint?  How about raising chickens for eggs in this gorgeous chicken 'Eglo' by Omlet? This product was designed by four Royal College of Art students a few years back (I actually first saw it at their grad show!).  Since then they have founded Omlet which sells this Eglu and the larger Eglu cube for housing chickens, rabbits or guinea pigs.  Their site also has tons of great info about being an urban chicken owner.
