Invisible Journeys

Oli Laurelle has created these interesting visuals to depict wireless networks along a journey.  The image above shows a journey in time (starting at the 3 o'clock position and moving clockwise) from the Barcelona city center to the airport, by train.  Each "pin" represents a unique WiFi source.  I'm not exactly sure how to interpret these visuals as any sort of map or story, but they sure are fascinating pieces of art.
